A place of care with love and dignity
Maria João
The Mama Eve Home project was founded by me, Maria João.
I have experience in nursing homes in Portugal and Germany, as well as in 24-hour care services.
The project combines dedication, empathy and international practical experience with a commitment to creating a real home!
Mama Eve Home was born out of a deep desire to offer elderly people a home that goes beyond basic care.
Here, each resident will be welcomed as part of a family, with respect for their life history, their individual needs and their right to spend his or her twilight years with dignity.

Jornal Sábado says in a news article published on 24 June 2024
‘From 131 to 184: the elderly generation grows while the young population shrinks’
These figures highlight the urgent need to create new, safe, humane and accessible solutions to respond to the ageing of the Portuguese population.
‘Becoming old, for me, is simply the privilege of being alive’
Clarice Lispector
Mama Eve Home aims to be an example of person-centred care, where each elderly person is respected, listened to and encouraged to live this stage of life with joy and meaning.
We want to create a space where families feel confident and at ease when entrusting their loved ones to our care.
• -Appropriate physical space
• -Specialised furniture and equipment (adjustable beds, ergonomic chairs, daily support materials)
• -Qualified human resources
• -Financial support and strategic partnerships
We are seeking investors and partners to turn this dream into reality.
Join us in this mission to bring more life to the twilight years.
